Washing with non running water?

Hello all! I have browsed the forum a bit, and while the subject on how to wash your cup comes up in some conversations, I haven't seen too many posts about it.

Basically, I live in Peru and I don't drink the tap water. I figure, if I can't drink it (I don't even use it to clean my toothbrush), I also don't want to wash my diva cup in it! I am a new cup user- I used it for one period in DC, and just moved here.

So far, I have been using a glass with potable water (I get drinking water delivered) and filling it up a couple times to rinse it out and adding a little bit of the diva cup soap, and then putting it in the glass so I can squeeze it and clean out the holes and rinse the soap off. It's still all just a little bit awkward, since last time I was able to just run it under the water.

Anyone else dealing with this or have suggestions? I am fortunate enough that I don't need to empty it when I am out, just in the morning/evening when I am at home.
