So. At some point in the last month my cup got knocked off the little shelf where it lives and fell into my first aid box, where it got nice and cozy with a tube of Icy Hot. The tube wasn't leaking or anything, and the cup was in its cloth pouch, but it somehow absorbed that nasty minty smell and now I'm really scared to let it anywhere near my vag!

What do you think the best way to clean it from this would be?

Hmm... maybe getting it out into the air so whatever's on there can evaporate? (After all, even when you put Icy Hot on your skin, it doesn't last forever...)

I'm assuming you've tried soap and water already ;)

i second this.

i am imagining the feeling of icy hot in my crotch right now and it's not a fun idea!

I don't think it's anything to be worried about, if there's been no actual contact between the Icy Hot and the cup!

A few months ago I noticed that my Ladycup had started smelling of Tiger Balm, since I'd been keeping it in my gym bag in the same pocket as the Tiger Balm/band-aids/etc. I didn't notice any unusual effects or tingly feelings after I put the cup in that month.

The smell went away on its own once I started keeping the cup somewhere else. Probably the only way to speed up the process is to put it somewhere with plenty of air circulation.

I would try leaving it in the sun on a windowsill--that's supposed to get rid of odors.

I think icy hot is oil based, so I'm sure if you use soap and water, and scrub it good with a bath rag, it should remove any of the product. all that woudl be left is just the smell maybe, but as long as the product is off, it should be alright.
