Planning on trying a cup again

(I joined LiveJournal just to post to this community, so if I do something stupid, please forgive me.)

I'm 24 and not a virgin. I've never given birth. A couple of years ago, I tried the smaller model of the Diva Cup and had a horrible time. I had a hard time getting it in and a worse time getting it out. I think it may have been too wide and too stiff.

I'm thinking of trying a small Lunette.

My issue is that I've been reading on here, and a lot of people are saying that the cup should fit up on or near your cervix.

My cervix, at it's lowest point (the second day of my period) is more than three inches in. I can't find it the rest of the time. I'm not going to be able to reach ANY cup if it's going to sit that high.

Will it stay lower if I put it there? Or is it just going to migrate up so far that I'll need to go to the doctor to get it removed? I never wore the Diva for a whole day. I wanted to make sure I could get it out easily before I tried that, and I could never get it out easily. So I may not have used it long enough at a time to experience any migration.

I'm basically wondering if I should bother trying again.
