a remote village+my period...
Hello everyone :)
On Friday (yes, less than two days), I am leaving on a trip to Peru. We are going to be staying in a remote village in the mountains with limited water supplies. AKA no running water for showers, and we have to pour a bucket of water down the toilet to flush.
I am expecting my period any day now... I have travelled with my DivaCup before, but this is very different. I would like to know if there are some kind of disposable wipes that I can use to clean out my cup and insert it back in right away. I know these wipes exist, but I do not have time to order them from online.
Is there ANYTHING that you would suggest I could buy from a store like Jewel Osco, Walgreens, Walmart, Dominicks, Sunset Foods, or Whole Foods?
I have pads as backup, and I really would not like to bring tampons, but if it's necessary, it will be my last measure.
I would really, truly appreciate any suggestions, as I'm in a bit of a time crunch...
