I've been using a DivaCup for about 4-5 months now and LOVE it and have had basically no problems with it.
Later today, I'm taking a trapeze lesson, which I signed up for without realizing that I would have my period during the lesson. I'm taking a basic class, but there might be some upside-down moves or flip moves. I'm a little nervous about wearing my DivaCup while being upside-down...will all the blood gush out and then pour back in or otherwise make a mess when I turn right-side up? Should I wear a tampon or a pad instead?
Any advice on going upside-down while on my period? I know there are yoga moves that menstruating women aren't supposed to do, but I wouldn't be upside-down for more than a couple seconds at a time.
