stems

So I'm a fairly happy user of a Diva cup for almost 6 months now.  However, I really dislike the stem but can't cut it off because I need it to aid in removal (long vagina and the cup tends to work itself up pretty high).  The biggest thing I hate about it is it being hollow since it gets nasty looking inside of the stem and is difficult to clean.  There are also a couple comfort issues but I can deal with them (and they would probably be fixed with a different stem).  I know there are other cups that have different stems, but I'm not sure exactly what I want.  So I was wondering if there was any type of chart that showed what type of stem all the cups had (like the sizing charts)?  Also, what type of stem do other people prefer in terms of comfort?

ps If you have any tips for cleaning the inside of the Diva stem, I would appreciate them!
