Mooncup won't stay in place

First post here (but thank the gods for this community!).

My Mooncup arrived a few days ago, just in time for my period, and while I've gotten the basics down (insertion, removal), when I get the cup inside me, it won't stay in place.

When I first put it in, it feels fine (I'm aware of it, but it doesn't feel bad), but when I lie down, or lean over, or sleep on my stomach it shifts around continuously so that I keep having to adjust it every 1/2 hour of so.

I've read somewhat about trimming the stem, and how it's supposed to stay outside the body (that's correct, right?), once I get off the toilet, the whole cup gets sucked inside and beginning wriggling about.

Anyone else have this problem, and/or tips to overcome it? I love the idea of a Mooncup, and since I never really got the hang of tampons, I really don't want to go back to pads if there are other options.

Thanks!
