Something I've noticed about my body

My period has started today, but I started putting in my Lunette a few days ahead of time just to be safe. I know that it's been recommended on here to really feel around your vagina to get an idea of where your cervix is positioned so that the cup can suction on to the cervix. I have just one problem; my cervix seems to be slightly off-center, so it seems that I can never get the cup to cover it exactly. I think this may be why I've had to wear additional protection during previous cycles. Does anyone have any suggestions to get around this?
