Lunette just posted a photo of their new green-colored "Diana" cup!  Here is the link to the photo, their facebook says the first shipment of green cups just came in, so we should see people buying them up pretty soon:

Yeah it is a pretty color!

I just saw the update on FB and I figured I'd better hurry over and tell everyone. Looks like I just barely made it, lol

Ugh, I just knew they'd make it my favorite shade of green, my all-time favorite color. Now I just _have_ to get another cup!

I can't wait for FDA approval here in the U.S. I'm so wanting pretty colored Lunette (or two)!

This is so exciting! As soon as the "Diana" receives FDA approval, I will have them available for sale in the US on . I will keep you posted here on this forum and on the Tickle Me Pink Facebook page, .

I am told that things are moving very quickly and are near completion with the approval. :-)

Am I the only one a bit disappointed? I was expecting a translucent colour - I don't like fully opaque coloured cups.
Prickle Bitchmeig on March 20th, 2010 02:01 am (UTC)
I'm with you on this. The only one I like at all is the MiaCup but that's because I love purple and pink. But I'm not impressed with this one, and I was hoping I'd be.

Oh well, I don't need to spend so much on a cup, anyway. I have a Yuuki and supposedly they are very similar.
kittykatnblue on March 20th, 2010 02:03 am (UTC)
I'm with you. I was also expecting translucent. It's that kind of green that looks like it's supposed to glow in the dark.
Griffin Rosegriffinrose on March 20th, 2010 04:32 am (UTC)
I am in agreement as well. I am kind of disappointed with the color. I don't know why, but I was expecting a little darker green like the kind of new forest foliage. The Diana is more neon then what I like. The first thing I though was "wow you wont need a light to put this one in."

This is disappointing as I have two Selene's and I think the blue is a really classy looking color.

The Diana is not my cup of tea, but I do wish them all the luck with it. Lunette still makes an awesome product!!! I still would recommend them to anyone.

Agreed. Don't like this green at all. darker and translucent and i'd have bought it, even though i don't need a new cup. this is awful snot/glow in the dark yukkiness.

agreed, this one looks like a kids glow in the dark toy. i was really hoping for a forest or emerald green. (translucent or not)
Griffin Rosegriffinrose on March 23rd, 2010 05:54 am (UTC)
A satiny forest or emerald green cup would have been lovely.

As a goddess worshiper, I could have seen Diana draped in that color, running through the woods. It would have been wonderful symbol.

would like this, but i just bought a yuuki because $69 is just too much for me to spend on a cup.
why are the lunettes so much more expensive than other cups?
melissa569melissa569 on March 19th, 2010 11:29 pm (UTC)
Not sure, I think it might have something to do with the nice quality of the material, or maybe some of the marketting efforts, because they really are doing a good job in marketting. They've got all those different products-- wash, body lotion, cloth pads, stickers, pins, tote bags, the nice displays they set up out in public, even T-shirts now :)

My small lunette (clear) was 45 USD including shipping. I ordered from ticklemepink and have seen similar prices elsewhere.
Beatrix Kiddoniubutterfly82 on March 20th, 2010 03:05 am (UTC)
They are even on sale on Leastore for 39 + Shipping. Not too shabby. :)
---ironicmustache on March 20th, 2010 05:26 am (UTC)
$45 is still pretty pricy, though (for me as a poor college student). both my lady cup and yuuki cup were about half that price.
oletusarvooletusarvo on March 20th, 2010 08:33 pm (UTC)
Well, the dollar has gained on the euro but the euro is still strong, so that might have something to do with it. Also, the Lunette is manufactured in Finland, where the cost of labor is higher than, say, Czech republic. Also, maybe the FDA approval process was costly?

These are just guesses, though. In Finland, the Lunette is about the same price as other cups (Meluna excluded, of course), and from what I understand, the difference isn't significant inside the EU.

Just looking at that color makes my vagina feel minty-fresh!
kat000 on March 22nd, 2010 02:43 pm (UTC)
Thank God I don't really like it! If it had been darker, less neon green and more translucent I probably wouldn't have been able to help myself. I was picturing more of a grass/forest green.
