So, at the gynecologists the other day, I mentioned that I use a menstrual cup.  She repeated it as menstrual cap.  I corrected her, but she still wrote down 'cap' in my notes.

I noticed that happening when I bought it as well.  I asked a sales lady where they were, and twice she referred to 'caps' even though I kept saying 'cups'.

Anyone else noticed that?

Incidentally, can anyone think of a very quick explanation I can give of menstrual cups to people like the gynecologist?  It was a free GUM clinic, so I was trying to be fast and not take up too much time - they were packed.
