HELLO! I've been lurking for a couple days but now that I have successfully begun using my Keeper I feel like I should post. It wasn't that I had a horrible experience with tampons or pads that drove me to getting a cup...I just read about it somewhere and thought it looked really economical, comfortable, environmentally-friendly, etc. So I ordered it off Amazon. I liked its sort of "crunchy granola" look I have no idea why but it just appealed to me. When it arrived I tried to do a dry run a couple times but it was really painful and I read on here that a dry run is sometimes much different/harder than when you actually have your period. So I gave up and decided to wait for my period. A couple days later, when I got it, I just popped it in in the shower with the punchdown fold, no problem, no leaking. I could feel the stem at first, but now I don't even notice it. Anyways, I emptied before bed, easy peasy lemon squeezy, I didn't even get any blood on my fingers! Btw, I'm 16 and a virgin.

I'm really excited about this whole thing! And this community has helped me SO MUCH, even if I haven't posted before this. For every question I had, I was able to find really helpful answers on here. :)
