Hi everyone,

I just ordered a medium MeLuna with the ball end (heard that was the least likely to break) and I'm wondering if there is anything I should keep in mind for the first time I'm using it. I've never used a cup before but wanted to cut down on the chemicals I expose my body to with pads and tampons and eliminate the waste of using so many each month. I went with the medium MeLuna because I have a short vagina (when I'm close to my period it's only about 1 1/2 inches and even my nuvating pokes out), but a fairly heavy flow. I've read that the MeLuna is stiffer than many other cups- how will this affect insertion? Is there a different technique I should use for breaking the suction to get it out? Any other general advice about them? Thanks!
