After reading several reviews, I would like to order a large cuplee. I have a small juju but I experienced rectal pressure and it doesn't hold that much. From the reviews, cuplee seems like a good choice for me. However, I'm worry that a large soft cup might be hard to pop open if I have a strong pelvic muscle. TMI: juju cup has no problem opening up inside. But, the vaginal tunnel or wall is very tight(that's what I felt when I remove the cup). Will cuplee get squished and caused leaking?
By the way, how far back does everyone place their cup? Pass the ridges? (I noticed some ridges when I tried to locate my cervix)
I was trying to find my cervix to pinpoint why my Diva might be leaking, and noticed that the front wall of my vagina feels swollen. When I tried to insert my cup, it went in normally, but doesn't migrate upward as it usually does, since the swollen front wall doesn't allow it to. Is the swollen front wall a dangly cervix or, god forbid, a bladder prolapse? (I'm 13 years old and, obviously, haven't had any childbirths btw)
Sorry for the double post, but I'm really excited because I finally got the Divacup to rotate! It has resolved most of (but did not completely eliminate) my leaking issues. I don't know if it will work for you guys, but it's worth a try, I suppose.
What I did was I inserted the cup as usual, then grabbed the base of the cup (not the stem!) and pressed on the sides ever so slightly to unseal the cup rim from the vaginal walls. I then turn my wrist in a circular motion so as to turn the cup, repeating this several times until the cup has turned 360 degrees, and what do you know, it works! The cup becomes rounder and seals better, I don't have to stick a finger up my vagina to ensure a seal, and I'm good to go!
Note that if there isn't much blood coating the vaginal walls when you do this, it might hurt a little, since there can be some friction when you turn the cup.
Let me know if this works for you!
