La Luna Cup

I was looking at longer cups today, and when I searched up "Luna Cup" on Google, I ran into the La Luna Cup site instead.

This is the website. They have a picture right on the homepage:

I got intrigued by this brand because it reminded me a LOT of the small Lunette, only in different colors. Does anyone know this brand? I'm interested in learning the quality of the cup, how soft it is, ete.

Uncomfortable wear & getting lost 'up in there'

Hello all! So glad to see this comm exists. I just bought a MoonCup, size B (I'm 26, not a virgin, no kids) and am using it for the first time--or trying to, anyway. I'm still trying to find the right fold/insertion method, but when I finally get it in there it seems to go way too far up of its own volition. Like, I haven't trimmed the stem at all and I can barely reach it to remove it. Furthermore, I can very much feel it and it's uncomfortable, and I know you're not supposed to be aware of it at all, much like a tampon (right??).

It seems to be doing its job--it's not leaking, at least--but I'm still pretty sure I'm doing something wrong. I really wanna make this work because I'm stubborn and I spent $30 on this...any thoughts??? (Sorry if this stuff has been addressed before!)

Using a Cup After I Broke My Hymen (I Think)

TLDR: Can I use a cup immediately after I (think) I broke my hymen or should I wait?

First of all, I want to say thanks for everything I've learned on this page! I've been hanging around for some time reading, but this is my first post.

I'm a virgin and have used tampons some and have also um, pleasured myself using penetration. I've been reading the Virgin's Guide to Cups, which has been great. I tried to find my hymen, but never was completely sure where it was/what I was supposed to be looking for. I thought perhaps I had already broken it, because I've done plenty of horseback riding, bicycling (including some unfortunate accidents riding a guy's bike that was too big for me and hitting that area quite hard), as well as a very painful accident involving a diving board. I got comfortable with my body for the first time in my life. I actually felt "normal" like those body parts down there were actually part of me, instead of something I should be ashamed!

I used the sizing guide and picked what I thought was an ideal choice for me, but I put off buying it for a while. I finally took the plunge and bought my first cup, a Small, Clear Lunette from Amazon. It arrived yesterday and I spent yesterday watching YouTube videos and practicing different folds and sort of getting used to manipulating it.

Then this morning, I took a shower and practiced putting it in, it seemed pretty easy. I tried a few folds and just practiced putting it in and then pulling it back out. I was surprised at how comfortable it was when it was in! Then I decided to see if I could get it open inside. Surprisingly, I did on my second try! I had a slight moment of freaking out when I tried to pull it out because the stem just stretched, but when I grasped teh base of the cup instead it came out fairly easily. I felt a little discomfort, but not a lot.

I was pretty proud of myself, so I finished my shower and got out, dressed, etc. but noticed I felt a little sore or sensitive down there. I didn't think much of it, assumed I was just getting used to it. A few minutes later, I felt wet. I went to the bathroom and discovered there was a fair amount of blood. Yesterday was the last day of my period and it tapered off with dark brown flow. This was bright red, and there was plenty of it. I wiped it up and put a pad on just in case, but I'm thinking that I broke my hymen?

So...all of that to get to my question, is it okay to continue to play with the cup and practice putting it in and taking it out, or would it be better to let that area rest for a few days/weeks/whatever before I try again so that it can heal or whatever? The bleeding stopped almost immediately after I cleaned it up, I had a little pink on my TP an hour later, but nothing now.
