Has anyone else here tried the Sckoon and loathed it? I've tried to love it. I was so excited a cup made in america! I ordered it, and then it took forever with shipping. They didn't give me any sort of discount about the shipping and I was suprised they didn't send me any defect cups or anything.
Its just too soft. I'm a c-fold kinda girl and I love my lunette. I guess lunette is my goldicup and I should be happy.
I did like the pouch for the sckoon!
I think it has FINALLY happened. I found my perfect cup! I cannot express to you how excited I am. :D
I've been trying to find a satisfactory way of dealing with my menstrual fluid for fifteen years. I've been through just about everything on the market, including several different kinds of cups. Everything was either uncomfortable or leaked or both. At some point, I thought cups would have to be the answer, but each one I tried gave me problems too. I bought the small Diva Cups first, but it was too long and painful. The small Mooncup (USA) was then too stiff to even get in. The small Lunette was a big step in the right direction, but would occasionally still leak. I figured if I still had to wear a cloth pad under my cup, I might as well not even use it. But I wanted an internal solution. I tried the small Ladycup next, and it was too hard to remove in addition to leaking. I almost gave up on cups, but then I saw that Fleurcup was having a sale, so I decided to order both their small and large sizes. Turns out, their large works absolutely perfectly for me!! It took me a bit to get it to work right... It got super-suctioned to my cervix the first couple of times because its extra width enveloped the fleshy stuff around it as well (scared me because I couldn't break the seal for half an hour and was in pain afterward). But over time my body adjusted, and I learned how to maneuver the larger thing more effectively... and now my last two periods have been completely pad (and leak) free!!
I'm just gonna go do some cartwheels now. Back to the normal proceedings. :3
