Easiest folds for Small Lunette?

After an immense amount of trouble with my Diva Cup, I ordered a small Lunette Selene a bit ago. My period came yesterday, and for the first time I've been trying to insert the Lunette.
Insertion really isn't an easy thing for me. Thankfully, the Lunette isn't as big as the (small) Diva I used to have, so I can go quite far before I feel the need to pull it out. When I had my Diva, for the first insertion, I must have opened it to early (?) & not have let it seal by popping it open (since it's rather notorious for it's strong suction) and I went through an incredible amount of pain that felt like my uterus was being ripped out and my vagina was being sucked out. Alas, I am now terrified to try again with my Lunette even though it has (thank goodness) much bigger suction (?) holes and is smaller.

Today I had another go at it. I mostly have done the punch-down fold, but this requires me to go very far before letting go of the cup, so I don't think it's for me just yet. I'd appreciate ideas on more narrow folds like the punch-down as I'm a virgin and I've never really gone past insertion with cups besides tampons.
I might have another try at the 7-fold, although I have rather weak fingers so I can't hold folds that long and as far as the 7-fold goes.
Thanks in advance!

Popping open/suction issues?

I've been stalking this community for a while but this is my first time posting :) I apologize if this shows up wrong or something...
I got a small size Diva a few months ago. 14 year old virgin. Everything's going fine except for one problem. I really couldn't find another post that answered my question. Whenever I insert my cup it's all good, seems to be sealed and all popped open. Nothing but punch down really works for me. But within five minutes I usually feel a weird punching thing, really more surprising than painful though. It works fine before and after this happens and I've never had any leaks, so I'm not sure if it's just popping itself to the right spot or something. A few times this hasn't happened, and I really can't figure out what I did differently. Is it because it's too big for me? I'm about 2&3/4-3 inches to my cervix. I've been looking at Ladycups and Lunettes. My mom got me my Diva and I asked her for another, but she said it wasn't necessary. (I don't think she gets really how much bigger it is) What do you think is the problem here?

Can't insert cup no matter what... so much pain!

Agh! I should refrain from posting double posts in a row, but as this community has such helpful users, I felt the need to really explain my problems since I'm apparently having (too?) much trouble with this than I should.
First of all, thank you for the recommendations on my last post! I tested some out today (since I'm on my period right now).
Anyway -- I'm still having a hard time inserting, and I'll go into detail here. I tried multiple folds and the results were all the same, so it's most likely ME, not the folding method, which is rather unfortunate.

The last one I used was the 7-fold. I for some reason have a difficult time holding on to it (I'm a virgin; and I'm using a small Lunette Selene; for anyone who didn't read my last post) but I can manage. I was inserting it normally (although I may have been pointing the cup a little too to the left since I'm right-handed) and I could only go so far as to... maybe the base? I'm not sure if I even went in THAT far. It may have been halfway, even. -- By the way, I was doing this in the shower, and I can't buy lubricant as I'm very young, so water was my best option. -- So once I got to that point it felt like so much pain. It wasn't a particular type such as burning or stinging, but it was as if I was it was putting pressure on my vagina and it just hurt like crazy. I'm extremely fed up with pads, so I forced myself to push it in further [because I want to use my Lunette so badly] but I couldn't do it anymore, it was too painful. The whole "insertion" took around ten minutes or so. So ONCE AGAIN, for just about the sixth time today, I removed it without it hardly going in in the first place.

Then I thought, "there's no way I can just stop there..." so I tested it out, and put my middle finger inside of me, and I got so far that I couldn't even feel my finger inside of me -- and I did it all in about 15 seconds.
So why can I go so far with my finger, but not with my cup?! Grrr, I feel like I'm hopeless with this thing. How is it possible that the cup is causing me so much pain when I hardly put it in, yet something as long as my finger can go in so easily?
I have a pretty high cervix, by the way. I don't think I've ever reached it, even on my heaviest days. So what am I doing wrong?

ready to quit cups - meluna delaminating

AGH.  I have gone through 2 cups in less than a year.  I had a small LadyCup, and the holes tore within 6 months - I couldn't find my receipt, so I couldn't get a replacement.  Now, today, I noticed that my Small Soft (old-style) Meluna is delaminating at the top, near the seam - there's blood between layers of the cup.  I am SO mad because I've only had it for 6 months, and I can't afford to buy a cup every 6 months when they're supposed to last 5-10 YEARS.  I wipe it with TP every time I empty it and wash it with soap every time I shower.  I've boiled it once, and soaked it in peroxide once.  According to the company, UV is the only thing that should damage them, and I haven't let it sit in the sun.  I HATE tampons, but I don't want to keep buying cups if they're going to keep falling apart.  Either I need a sturdier cup, or maybe I'll convert back to cloth pads only?  (But I bleed A LOT at the beginning - don't mind emptying my cup every hour but don't want to wear pads only on heavy days.)

Anyone know if Meluna has a guarantee?  (I bought it through http://www.femininewear.co.uk/, so I don't know if Meluna will cover it even if they do have a warranty.)  Has this happened to anyone else?  Maybe a stiffer cup would be sturdier?  I have a low cervix / prolapse repair and the old soft Meluna is the ONLY thing that I've tried that doesn't hurt - LadyCup, SoftCup, Diva, and Tampons all feel like they're going to poke through into my bladder and ache a lot.

Sorry if this has come up before, but I'm not finding any old posts about similar problems when I search the site.

Having Leaking Issues and Needing Bigger Capcity For Some Days

Hey, I've been using menstrual cups for 7 years or so now. Started with the Diva and only last year did I learn (from this community) that I have a low cervix and switched to better ones for me. I currently have 2 large Lunettes, 1 large old style soft Meluna, and 2 classic medium Melunas. I didn't have an issues at first with the Lunettes at first with leaks (which is my cup of choice for ease of use), but now I am. I leak the worst at night, and the cup will not even be close to full. I'm sure that it is popping open, and that my cervix is sitting inside. I've tried flipping them inside out and that seems to work well, but I fill them too fast on my heavy days. I prefer to use the Meluna, because I seem to leak less with that but I have such a darned time trying to get that soft cup in. I will literally try to get the Meluna in for 10 minutes before I just give up and use a Lunette. I use the cold water trip where you run it under cool water to harden the material, different folds, and I cannot get it to pop open for the life of me.

I know that Meluna just recently added a new grade in the cups which is the 'sport'. Has anyone tried these? I was also thinking about getting an XL sport or a large sport, and then using my Lunette inside out on my lighter days. I don't bother with the mediums much, because I bleed too much to make much use of them usually. Anyone else have issues with soft cups or experience with any of the Meluna's 'sport'? Thank you :)
