Flexibility comparison and hole sizes ??
Hey there, I'm a 37 yr old mother of 4 in the USA. I used to use a diva cup several years ago (like 8 or so yrs). I started working a lot of hours at a store that didn't have a private bathroom and was unable to empty and rinse my cup so I stopped using it and packed it away somewhere... then I moved and have no clue where the darn thing disappeared off to.
I'm on day 3 of my first IUD (paraguard) and am wondering what works best with a new IUD user. With the diva cup, I would put it in and twist it to make sure that it was fully deployed and sealed and I understand that is not a good practice with an IUD. So would it be better to have a firmer or softer cup and what technique can I use to ensure it is seated well without yanking my strings? Also, I have a tilted uterus if that has any bearing on the subject.
I'm curious if someone could list the menstrual cups from most flexible to least flexible (so I know how to compare to my old cup) and to also denote those that have larger holes (the holes in my diva always got gunked up).
