Only just discovered this community and am more than a little overwhelmed by it all...

In a couple of weeks I will graduate from uni as a geologist - i have a job lined up and im pumped!
until my period started and i realised that regularly spending 2 - 3 weeks in remote areas with barely any access to clean facilities, and having to hike and carry gear....just thinking about the logistics of pads in that situation is giving me nightmares.

Lady Cup

Hi Everyone, about 6 months ago I purchased a large ladycup from ebay and was so excited when it finally arrived. I used it for about two cycles, but had a few problems with it. First of all, I noticed some cramping early on in my cycle. Second, when I would sleep with the cup in, it would some how get pushed up causing a huge leak leaving me to search for it it the morning. It was very scary the first time it happened because it was so far up that it took me several minutes to get it out.

Since then it's been back to using tampons. I hate how I have to make sure and have at least two tampons in my bag when I am at work, and when I was using my ladycup I didn't have to worry about that (just the cramping during the day). I really would like to use only reusable menstrual products. Anyhow, any tips on how to avoid these problems? Maybe I should switch to a different cup?? Thanks!

Selling gently used UK mooncups

Hi everyone, as I just haven't been able to get the UK Mooncup to work for me, I'm selling my 2 (A, B sized).  I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, so sorry if I'm not...But as I said, they are both used very little, and have the storage bag.  The small has just a bit of a stem left and the large none.
So, as I said, have both the small and large UK Mooncups that I'll sell for 25 euros or 30 dollars (I paid 40 euros for each).  I'll ship to the states as well (I'm in Italy), and paypal would work best for payment.  If anyone's interested let me know, I'd also do a 2 for lower price thing, or trade for either a medium  or large lunette, yuuki or meluna!  Thanks and happy cup-wearing!
