I'm doing a little better w/ the cup today. I was able to get that dent out of the top of the cup. I still had leakage, but nothing that a liner can't handle. No clots or thick stuff, just thin, pinkish-red liquid. No biggie. I accumulated 7.5ml or 1/4 cup again today. Great! But what's the deal w/ the way the stuff settles in the cup? It's like I get 3 layers.. Clear on top, brown thin layer in the middle, and THEN most of the contents is BRIGHT RED. Also, when I poured it out, it looked like runny strawberry jam. Boys don't know what they're missing.
so i've been trying to use the divacup correctly for a while now.
today is the second day of my period (heaviest day) so i decided to put the divacup in. i tried to rotate it and was pretty sure that it was open, since i felt it pop open. also, i pulled it down a bit to feel the suction, but that was uncomfortable, so i repositioned it a bit farther up and tried to angle it towards my lower back.
a few hours later, i bled onto my backup pad, and when i took the cup out, it wasn't even halfway full. why is this leakage happening?
it's so frustrating not to be able to rely on the divacup without leaks...
any techniques for getting rid of leaks?
how long is everyone able to leave the divacup in before leakage occurs?
any help would be appreciated.
