Thanks

So, I posted last and I still can't get it in and now my period is started and I'm sad. I tried and tried today, but it hurt a lot. I've come to the conclusion that my hymen is still intact or I have a very strange vagina.

Thank you for the help. I wish I could use my cup now, but I suppose I'll wait until my hymen is broken and then I'll try again. I have not given up though.

My biggest fear while trying to get the menstrual cup in was having it slip and open when it wasn't supposed to so that held me back from getting it in too far because I couldn't really get it very far in, but when I did get in a little I didn't really have anywhere to grab the keep it from popping open. Any suggestions?

You guessed it...cup problems...

So I used the keeper for my first full cycle which ended a few days ago. It worked marvelously the first day, I had no problems with insertion or removal. It was a glorious, glorious day. On the second day however, I started experiencing some pain. On the third day, I noticed a foul, foul smell along with the pain. I normally don't have a painful or smelly vagina. And I'm not talking normal odor, I'm talking...I wish I had the words to describe it, but I don't. I'm going to go to the doctor if it doesn't clear up by the weekend. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anything you are specifically NOT supposed to do to avoid such problems?

My DivaCup leaks when it's about half-full. I feel the suction and I know it's open all the way.

I bought the smaller size because I'm 17 and haven't ever been pregnant, let alone had kids. It seems weird that the cup would leak due to it being too small, but that's the only reason I've ever heard for leaks. Should I exchange it for the larger size?
