Sincerest apologies if this has been asked before. I've had a lot of trouble finding adequate information. Has anyone here experience with use of diaphragm as a menstrual cup? If so, care to tell me about it (how well it worked, potential concerns (with use of diaphragm as opposed to, say, the Keeper), sex during period, etc.)? Much thanks! :)
Anyone find that they are excited about their period coming just because they know they can use a menstrual cup instead of tampons, pads, etc? I usually dread my period but lately I've been thinking to myself that I actually want my period to come soon because I like my DivaCup so much. (Of course, once my period comes, I'm sure that feeling will leave me when I start getting moody =P )
This is a question for people who started using their cups while they were virgins. After using the cup for a while, did it still hurt when you lost your virginity? I know every woman is different, but I'd like to have a hint (for when I lose my virginity some day) from experienced users. Thanks!
The post below sparked this thought. I have a theory about why tampons and, for some women, cups cause cramps. I think it's because the tampon (or cup) is coming into contact with the cervix and the cervix doesn't like that. Tampons are generally worn higher than a cup so, if my theory is correct, it makes sense that they would make cramps worse. So, I've been wondering - what if there is a connection between the women who wear their cups higher (ie up around their cervix) and cramps? Would someone with a paid account be willing to set up a poll?
I'm purchasing a divacup and don't need my extra Instead cups. I'll sell them for $1 including shipping to the US ($1.50 to Canada). Buying one is a great way to try and see if you like them instead of buying a box. I have selling & buying feedback here.
