a question about diflucan and the divacup

I have a question about using diflucan (a pill to treat yeast infections) and the divacup.
Today I went to Student Health and found out that I had a yeast infection. I also have my period. Tommorow I'm going to pick up the diflucan to treat it, but I was wondering if the yeast couldn't stick around on the divacup?
Is it possible to get reifected using the divacup? If so, should I just go back to tampoons for the week? Or what? Or am I ok with just taking the pill and cleaning the divacup with steaming (and I mean steaming, it hurts if you hands are under it) water, which *should* kill yeast?
Anyways, I'd appreciate it if someone could help me out on this one.

i have a question about those little holes under the rim of the keeper. has anyone else noticed that they are a pain in the butt to clean? i have tried everything to clean them short of sticking stuff in them to get the old goo outta them and cannot seem to do it. what am i doing wrong here?
