(no subject)

I'm new here, really purely to investigate right now on opinions on the keeper/mooncup (be it from slightly bias woman).

Basically I have a few questions about them, which go as follows;

Are they any good, and how are they in comparison to tampons?
Are there any dangers to using them?
Are they as woman friendly as people tell me?
Are they worth the money?
How much trouble are they to insert?
How much trouble are they to take care of?
How long could I keep it in with a heavy flow?
Are they likely to get lost once in and how hard are they to remove?
I would have to buy a mooncup [silicone] because I have a fear of rubber, so is there anything I'd need to know about using a mooncup insted of a keeper?

I've been hearing a lot of good things about them, and I would really like to get away from using tampons because they just don't feel very nice and even after 5 years I still seem to have trouble inserting them from time to time - I'm very much trying to be a lot nicer to my vagina recently for various personal reasons.
What really concerns me is how functional and how convenient they are, I like tampons because they are easy to put in and easy to dispose of, but with these keepers it seems like you need to be doing a lot more to take care of them (which could be a good thing for getting to know yourself a little better), I'm not sure if I would have the time to mess about with something like this.
Also, I don't really think I want to be running about with a used menstrual cup back and forth between the toilet and the bathroom to clean it.
It's all totally alien to me, so if any of you could offer some advice it would be appreciated.
