(no subject)

I'm just about done with my first cycle with the keeper. I had some initial difficulties with getting it in, but now I think I have the hang of that, and I'm generally pretty happy with it. However, I still find it painful (almost excruciating) to take out. Now, do you suppose that's just because I haven't figured out the right technique yet? Does the fact that I'm a virgin have anything to do with it? (Don't worry, I'm not going to rush out and have sex just so that I can get my keeper out more easily, but if it is a factor, I would like to know.) I understand that this takes some getting used to, but if it doesn't at least have some hope of getting better, I'm going to have to stop using the keeper, which is too bad, because I really like it otherwise. Any feedback you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

almost disappointed

I've had my Keeper since late november, but this week-end was only the second time I really got something out of it, since it took me a while to adjust.

I can't say if any of this is due to the placebo effect, but I felt neglibible cramping. I had no leaks either, and by now I've had enough practice that it doesn't hurt to insert or remove.

And my period only lasted 72 hours, following which the flow was so minute I didn't even need a pantyliner. I was almost... disappointed that it ended so quickly, probably because I am still in the honeymoon phase for this product.

I'm really glad I've persevered, after my initial reaction of "OUCH! That hurts like hell! No way I'll ever be able to wear that!" And the Keeper looks far less intimidating than it used to. It seems smaller now.
