Wow, it's big...

And I don't mean that in a white lie, 'That's the biggest I've ever seen, honey.. honest' kinda way.

I just got my keeper really late Saturday night, and I was so shocked at how big it is. I even looked to see if I got the size A instead of B. WOW. I expected it to be about 3/4 to half the size it really is. (However, it isn't anywhere near the size or shape of Instead, so there's a plus.) Guess I'm going to have to brush up on my Kegals between uses!!

Luckily, I think I'm just started to start yesterday, so I've gotten the chance to use it first off. It's not too bad, though I believe I'm having insertion and removal aquaintance pains---ie I just don't know what the heck I'm doing yet. It does feel just as big as it looks going in, but once it is in, I can hardly tell. I can tell, though, just not enough to be bothersome or annoying. And the first time I removed it, I did get the lovely cervix hicky feeling (which will definately wake you up in the morning!). Hopefully both insertion and removal will get easier with pratice.

I'm also really glad I've started so soon after getting it--I'm not sure if I'm allergic to latex or not, haven't ever really come into contact with it. Plus, I'm hoping to go for an IUD quite soon---which reminds me to go back and see the answer to the IUD/Keeper question in this community. If it's a question between a Keeper and an IUD, the IUD is going to so very win.

I do have one question, though... after time/uses, does it become slightly more pliable?
