Ugh, these past 12 hours have sent me to the brink of madness! I woke up at 3 am with a leak :(. So I go off to the loo, get washed up, reinsert, go back to bed. I woke up at 7:15 this morning, leaking yet again! The cup is not full, but some ppl have said it's because the cervix actually sits inside the cup taking up space so the cup can't fill completly? SO, I go to clean up and BAM, that aweful "red string of death" I've heard so many ppl refer to as one of the hazards to emptying in public. It wasn't the length of said stringage, it was the fact that if I had been squatting (as I do in public restrooms) instead of sitting, well, I might of had to excuse myself home for a change of pants! YIKES!!!! Now I'm at work with monster cramps, AND the stem I've trimmed twice so far is still poking me! AAARRRGG!!!

Phew, now I feel better. Sometimes you have to talk about your frustrations to feel better you know ; ).  So now for the question and answer section of this post. 1. Is there a way to remove the cup in a fashion similar to insertion? It is SO painful for me to take that thing out! I use a punch down for insertion, but when I go to pull it out, I can't figure out how to make the circumphrence (sp?, cut me some slack, my menses make me really slow in the thought department!)  small enough to pass through without feeling like I'm giving birth to a plastic baby.
2. Both leaks this morning felt like a gooshy feeling, like when I beared down I could feel the air moving. Does that mean I don't have a proper seal?

I'm still loving the cup, not nearly as "grossed out" as I thought I'd be about collecting the fluid. I mean, I had to see and touch much more with conventional supplies! All I brought with me to work today are 3 small pantyliners for leakage, I am determind to make this work!  Oh, and thanks to IB proferin and my heating pads, the monster cramps have started to subside! YEAH!
