Question out of curiosity...Virgins and cups

Hi there ladies. I'm not a virgin and I use a large Diva and have two large PinkCups coming in the mail. My question is about virgins and using cups. I'm just wondering how that is possible? Can virgins remain intact while using the cup??? if not, does it hurt as bad as sex the first time? I'm wondering because though my girls are still years away from getting their period, I plan on introducing cups and cloth pads to them instead of disposable products. The problem is...I don't want then "ripping" anything that a virgin is supposed to have (ehem...hymen lol). Could someone please explain to me how this works? Thanks in advance to any who take the time to explain!
