Super heavy flow, leakage

Hi all. This is my first time using my Diva Cup, size B and I have a couple of questions.

I am 30 with one child, so I got the Size 2 Diva Cup. I really like the idea of the cup and even when there is leakage, it isn't anything a regular pad or liner can't handle, but I need to know why it is leaking.

Day 1: Awesome! No leaks, good day. Fairly light flow for me.
Day 2: Serious issues with folds/seal... The cup was never full, but I had lots of leakage all day. I think I got the hang of folding and inserting fold up, then twisting so the folded side is down. Now, by the time it is down, there are no dents and the cup is open.
Day 3: VERY HEAVY flow. Leakage, but I think it was more due to capacity rather than seal/fold issues. The first 4 times I emptied my cup (over the course of about 12 hours), it was completely full. The last time I emptied from the day, the cup wasn't full but there was a good amount of leakage.

If my past periods are anything to go by, I will still be dealing with this for the next 4-6 days, so I would love to know how to stop the leaking. Is it just a matter of the way it is folded? How do I know if I need to make my air holes larger? Is it a matter of the type of cup? Are there other brands that may work better? According to the capacity charts, the Diva seems to hold the most fluid of the things available to me.

Even if I have to continue using a liner/pad as backup, I don't think I will use tampons again. This is about 500x better than any Super Plus or Ultra Tampon.

Thank you for all your help!
