A tidbit that may help people

I have recently been diagnosed with a rectocele caused by childbirth, which is likely going to need surgical repair in the near future. I asked my doc about whether it was still safe to use a cup because of the pressure, suction or friction on an already damaged area, and he confirmed that it is absolutely fine and should cause no problems at all.

Hope this helps anyone looking for a similar answer in the future :)
