Is there such a thing as too big?

Hello! So I've been using my (small) Divacup for about a cycle and a half. But I was thinking of changing to one of the coloured Ladycups because i love variety. But the thing is, my Divacup at times doesn't seem to be big enough, and Ladycups seem to have much lower capacity to other brands. I was thinking about just getting a large ladycup in case the small ladycup was too small. But here's my question:

Is there such a thing as having too big of a cup? Wouldn't it work the same? (I've only heard of them being too small)

NOTE: I'm eighteen and I'm not a virgin.
