This is a link to a YouTube video about (I think)  moonCup UK.    I respect people who bring the natural female function out of the shadows, and this video does just that...

WARNING:  The video does contain shots of actual menstrual fluid in a shower, so if you are queemish about other people's fluids, you may not want to watch:

not sure how i feel about the blood in the tub. i mean, i do it, but i also shit. i really don't want to see others doing that.

cool, but not my cup of tea. i'm also not fully sure if it's actually a commercial, or if it's a "fake" commercial by someone wanting to promote it.

I'm pretty sure it's not a commercial. We Europeans are pretty laid back about bodily functions, but this wouldn't fly. It's simply not appealing to non-cup users.
Personally, though, I didn't mind seeing it.

Yeah, after I put the link, I started thinking weather or not I should give a "graphic" warning... I think now I'll just insert one, lol.

Eeek! We, on this list are progressive enough to handle it but if that were broadcast, I could just imagine every father and husband saying, "You'd better not do that in *MY* shower!"

And every Mom saying, "Don't leave that for ME to clean up!"

theres also the fact that pad users do that every time they shower, and tampon users who take their tampon out before getting in, so...the husbands and fathers better learn to deal with it anyway.

Yeah, but there's a big difference in volume between a few minutes of free-bleeding and several hours worth of collected flow dumped into a tub/shower.

Like I said, for the most part WE don't have a problem with it but I think (especially) men would rather not know. And other family members would probably request/demand that a cup be dumped in a toilet where they would not have to stand (quote-unquote) "in it."

I would venture to say that the same would go for peeing in the shower. Many do it but everyone else who uses that shower would rather not know or think about it.

Actually that was okay. Although when I empty mine in the shower I usually try to dump it more or less straight down the drain so I don't have a river of blood down my legs, or a puddle of blood that I'm standing in. Not that the blood is a bad thing, but...I don't want to stand in a puddle of anything other than water and soap.

Can anyone translate? I want to know what she says about Hitchcock in the info box. TIA!

The info box is something like "Do you also dream of playing Hitchcock in the bathtub?"

Disclaimer: I only have 3 years of high school French.

....interesting...

It looks like there were other videos there too on the cup. And yes, that looked like the mooncup (UK) to me. I couldn't understand the words that were on there though. :(
