My apologies if this has been asked...

Well, I'm new to this site (I love it, by the way), and a three-month user of my very own Diva Cup. WOO! It's literally changed my life - I even swear up and down that my cramps, which once literally crippled me, aren't nearly as painful as they used to be. My mission now is to convert everyone I know. Wish me luck!

Anyways, my question to you is this - I get my period on the 14th or 15th of every month. Is it safe to insert my Diva Cup before going to bed the night before I'm getting my period, just in case I get it in the middle of the night?

In addition, I'm still debating as to whether I want to boil my Diva Cup, or just stick to washing it with Diva Wash and very hot water every time I empty it/finish my cycle. Thoughts?

Gah, is it weird to be so excited about a little cup? I don't think so.
