I'm a poor college student in search of a size 1 (smaller) Lunette... and I'm located in the US. The ebay shippers no longer ship to the US due to legalities, I think? And I'm not sure if there's anywhere else that currently does. I also don't want to have to pay upwards of $40 for a cup when I got my diva for $20. I'd stay with my diva except that recently it's been feeling too long and getting uncomfortable. I tried turning it inside out (with amusing if disastrous results - it turned right-side out while in use). Does anyone have any suggestions or know of a place I can buy a Lunette? I took a look at the other cups, but I definitely think the Lunette is the best fit for me and my vagina :)

Thanks so much!

Edited for typos - doh!

I think virushuman recently had success having a Lunette shipped to the U.S. from Santi-Shop, but with the Euro-->USD conversion rate plus international shipping, I'm not sure the price will be below $40. LadyCups are a lot cheaper, have no problem shipping to/in the U.S. and are of very similar size to the small Lunette, so maybe that would be worth trying instead?

I don't want a ladycup because of the issues I've heard with removing it. And the Santi-Shop doesn't seem to sell clear Lunette size 1 :\ Thanks for the info though -- it's very appreciated!

The total of my order was $48 including shipping, from Santi-shop. They have a size 1 Selene, which is the blue Lunette.

However, I have not received the cup yet so I don't want to sing them high praises until the cup is in my hands.

Ok sorry for so many replies but..... I GOT THE LUNETTE SELENE IN THE MAIL! From Santi-shop! It came with all the paperwork and a flattened Lunette box (I got it mailed in a bubble envelope) and did not say SANITARY product on it either. Maybe I should make a new post about SantiShop?

I was going to suggest the LadyCup as well. I forwarded Lunettes to someone in the states and the total for her came to $51USD with the exchange rate then....so I think it will be pretty hard to find it under $40 unless you can find someone (and if you don't mind) who will sell their used cup.

Darn. Perhaps I should just save up some more money then. I got my hopes up seeing some of the ebay sales go for $20+shipping.

oh maybe ebay will have some good deals....I got the Lunette Selene so it is more expensive than the regular one and bought it retail from Leastore.

Be patient. The US restriction is only pending FDA approval. The Lunette folks are hopeful that approval is just scant months away. And then compare prices to Sarah-May's at http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Lunette-Cups__W0QQ_armrsZ1

Excellent. And yay, even with shipping (at the buy it now price) it's less than $40USD. Now I just have to figure out how to wait until it's approved lol - patience is not one of my virtues :)

Thanks!

(Your icon threw me for a loop. That's the icon I use around here, so it utterly puzzled me as to when I posted this. Ah, internets.)

As for cups, I highly suggest the Ladycup. I got mine off of ebay, and it shipped very quickly. There aren't any restrictions on it (yet) so it can ship right to you.

The reason I don't want the LadyCup is because I'm, err, slippery? I struggle with getting a grasp on my diva sometimes and I don't want to have to fight with the ladycup since it has a reputation of being difficult to remove. Thanks for the suggestion though! :)

Also, sorry about the icon >< I picked it up off of a feminist icon community at some point, I believe.

I've found that drying my fingers often helps, but I found the Diva easy to grasp. Since you didn't, I think you're entirely correct about the Lunette.

Totally all right about the icon. I honestly thought I posted for a second, and then promptly regained my senses. Amusing, nonetheless.

If you want to get it shipped to me, husbeast will be in Canada in 2 weeks and can ship it to you from there. I'm in Ireland.
