A woman/artist took a photo of her cervix every day over the course of a month-long cycle and has made the photos available online. Personally, I had no idea what a cervix actually looked like (and it looks way different from what I imagined!). Seeing these photos helped me better visualize exactly how my menstrual cup fits up there. Not to mention it provided added reassurance that everything that I deal with each month is evidently quite normal.
Admittedly, even with my growing body-positive attitude, it felt a little weird looking at these pictures, but goodness was it ever educational and worthwhile. Yet again I wonder how on earth that expands enough to give birth. Anyway, I thought it might be useful for cup users to have some visuals regarding what we're dealing with.
