IUDs + cups?

For everyone out there who has an IUD and uses a menstrual cup: how long after getting your IUD inserted did you wait to use your cup? I just got my Mirena on Tuesday, but this period has reminded me of how much I absolutely hate using tampons.

Background: I've been using my DivaCup since around December and have never been pregnant.
