Low cervix, heavy flow.

I have been using the large Diva cup for 18 months.  I am not happy with it and never really liked it except for the convenience.  The Diva cup is usually uncomfortable and pokes me even though the stem is completely cut off.  When I insert it it's "in" it's not really "in", KWIM?  I encounter leaks and there is no rhyme or reason to it.  I started doing some reading on here and I'm pretty sure it is way too long for me.  What cup would you suggest for me?  It seems like if I get a shorter cup it won't hold as much and I'm wondering if I'll run into problems with the rim also not being as wide.  Are there short length cups with wide rims and larger volume?

ETA:  Where should the bottom of the cup fall?  Above pubic bone? Even with the bottom of the pubic bone??
