Getting the word out
I'm sure almost everyone here agrees that menstrual cups are awesome and every girl should know they exist. I have been going crazy lately trying to figure out how to bring it up to my female friends and coworkers that I am not very close to. I hear these girls complaining about their periods, and I just want to scream "A MENSTRUAL CUP WOULD FIX THAT PROBLEM." But alas, I don't know how to bring up a touchy subject like that in a work or school setting.
I got fed up and attempted to solve that problem last night. I wrote a facebook note praising the wonders of menstrual cups, gave details of why I love them, and posted a diva cup faq that I believe came from their website. I tagged almost every girl I have friended on facebook. I tagged maybe 25 and have possibly converted 3 of them! I feel so good right now. I hate having to see girls I care about suffering with disgusting pads and tampons.
How has everyone else dealt with spreading the word? How do you go about bringing it up to someone in random conversation?
