If this *is* new I want to call it the Triangle Fold.
  1. Flatten the cup.

  2. Fold one end of the flattened opening down to meet the base of the cup so the opening and left side of the cup are alongside each other.

  3. Hold the bit where they meet to insert it.

  4. When you insert it, you will hopefully find (as I do) that as soon as the base of the cup is a little way inside it pops open to exactly the right spot when you let go.

It's like an extreme 7-Fold which is how it came about - I settled on a 7-Fold but then just noticed one day that what I was using wasn't really a proper 7-Fold anymore!
My grip isn't all that strong, but I manage this with my Lunette as well despite it being much stiffer than my Mooncup UK.

Your lunette is stiffer than your mooncup UK? Weird, I find it's the other way around.

And yay, new fold! :D

Yeah it's lots stiffer. I have a small Mooncup UK and a large Lunette, my Mooncup is very squashy and easy to hold in a fold, the Lunette is much stiffer and doesn't really make a punch-down fold very well (not that it matters since I don't use that fold :)).

I found the Lunette shockingly stiff. It was hard to insert + I could feel it all the time, so I went back to my MCUK (which I love!)

Wow, it's funny how that works. I sat there last night squishing both of them and couldn't decide!
