Tea tree oil in lubricant to prevent yeast infection?

I seem to get a yeast infection nearly everytime after my period. I think it may have to to do with my diva cup, but yeast infections are better than BV infections! Anyway, I was curious as to what would happen if I used a few drops of tea tree oil mixed with lubricant while using the cup to prevent this.

Do you think that using lubricant with tea tree oil in it during sex would also prevent passing yeast infections back and forth between partners? Has anyone tried this?
