Still iffy on Coloured Cups

I still don't know how I feel about coloured cups. I think they're the cutest thing ever (and kinda really want one!), but I still have concerns for long term use. I know that MiaCup and Lady Cup both have FDA approval, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's safe. There are many products on the market that have FDA approval, and are still not really safe for long term use and oftentimes lead to other complications (i.e. anti-perspirant). Does anyone else feel uncomfortable with the colouring? At least initially?

MiaCup says the same colouring is used in children's toys and sex toys, but I feel that a menstrual cup would spend more time internally than any of the aforementioned products. I'm not trying to be anal about this, but I'm very conscientious about what I'm putting in my body, as I have a family history of cancer and I try and eliminate as many toxins as I can (hence my switch to menstrual cups almost a year ago). You may remember my recent post about me getting an IUD and requiring a new cup that is approved for use with an IUD, so I've been looking into the PinkCup and the Miacup. They're adorable, and as long as they're safe, I would prefer to get one of those over the clear silicone brands. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
