Major leakage problems

I'm using the Diva Cup Model 1, am 19 and sexually active. I've tried to browse through the archives about problems with the diva cup leaking, but I'm not sure if any of those apply to me.

This is my first time using it so it might just be me flooking, but I'm pretty sure I'm inserting it right and getting it to pop open. I usually hear a 'pop' sound and I do twist it with my fingers once it's in, but that's hard since I guess the seal is working. I notice that it starts to slide upwards as I go through the day. The first few hours I can wear it no problem. But after about two hours or so it slides up and I almost immediately start to leak. When I take the cup out it's only half-filled.

My problem is I think it's not covering my cervix, but I can't find it with my fingers so I can't be sure. I can also remove the cup really easily since it sort of just slides down as easy as it slides up. I've read that it's supposed to hurt when you take it out, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I've also tried putting it inside out since I've read that it might just be too long, but that just made the leakage worse. Two panties and a pair of jeans are already ruined. I really want the Diva Cup to work but I'm almost considering switching back to tampons. Help!
