Finally I have the cup I ordered (smaller size)! The lady I dealt with on ebay was super nice and helpful. I love the brushed-silicone feel of the Lunette. However, I didn't expect it to be so small! Sizewise, it's half of what I expected. I feel like I'm holding a Thumbelina in the palm of my  hand. I'm just worried that on heavy flow days I'll have to empty the cup every 1-2 hours. I tend to get a lot of clotting so I'm sure that would contribute to leaks?

Yep, the small Lunette is a little cup! But for such a small cup, it holds a lot. 19ml is more than what some other large-sized cups hold.

Compare capacities at http://community.livejournal.com/menstrual_cups/1285963.html

So as long as it FITS you OK, you'll be fine!

I didn't think my Diva would hold my heavy flow days (back when i was getting started on the NuvaRing and still had those...) but I realized that I thought I bled a lot more than I actually did. I think the act of changing tampons every few hours made me think I was practically gushing blood but really...at it's worst I had to change my Diva every 8 hours. Now I go 12 (but my periods are SIGNIFICANTLY lighter after YEARS of NuvaRing.)

Just my 2 cents.

Unless you have clots big enough to block the whole cup, they're not going to make you leak. It's one of the nice things about catching instead of absorbing the blood.
