How frequently and how long do you wear yours?

I've had my Diva for almost a year now. I usually wear it for at least part of my cycle every month, but sadly, on my heaviest days, it cant make it through the day. I'm at a point in my life that I've started spotting through out the month. I'd love to not get that "surprise" but I dont know how frequently I can wear my Diva. And how long can I wear my Diva? Thanks for the help, and for all the past help I've gotten. ( I finally took your advice and trimmed the stem off of my Diva. The difference was HUGE!)
