Predicting cup preferences

I recently found out about the existence of menstrual cups (funny how we all managed to not notice them for so long, isn't it?), and now of course I want one.

While I realize that no one can tell me which one is the best cup for me, I was wondering *how* to make the decision. My determination to buy locally narrowed it down to products available in-store in Madrid, Spain (that would be the Lunette) or in Massachusetts (Diva or Keeper Mooncup). I went on and read reviews on the different brands. But: how do I know if I want a soft cup or a stiffer one, a bigger or a smaller one, for instance?

If any of you have good advice on how to "guess" these preferences before buying a cup, I'd be very interested in reading it. And if not, I'll just go and try one, I know that many of you have already listed their personal favorites here :)
