A couple of questions...I'd really appreciate help!

Hey Everyone,

I just tried the diva cup this morning. I had a hard time inserting it until I found a website with pictures and I tried the punch down method. It worked on the first try and then I successfully inserted it and took it out a second time which was an accomplishment for me so I stopped with that today, however, I don't know if it's fully popped open. I can't really fit my fingers in there to feel around the cup to see if it's popped open, like others suggest. Also, I can't spin it either. I can only really grab the tip and when I'm taking it out I can just barely get further to pinch it to take it out.

(1) Do you have any other suggestions to know if it's fully open? Do you suggest any other folds?

(2) To ease my mind a little, is there any way that it can get stuck in there if it slides up? This is a fear of mine.

(3) Also, I don't really have long nails but would trimming them help?

Thanks so much! I really appreciate it!
