Diva Cup Questions.

Okay, so I'm on my very first period with my Diva Cup. Insertion is a snap, pain is either super minimal, or not there at all. However, removal is another matter all together. Because it's bigger coming out than going it, it really, really hurts when I pull it out! It feels almost like I'm about to tear something. And I know I'm breaking the seal because I can hear it, and folding it a little not only doesn't help, but seems to exacerbate the problem. I still really like it, but if it keeps being so painful to remove, I might have to give up. So if anyone has any tips or tricks, I would be very grateful. Also, one slightly squicky question, but why does the blood seem thicker when using the cup? I've always used tampons, and when I removed those a little blood always came out, and it seemed fairly thin. With the cup, the blood seems much more viscous. Any ideas on that?
