Porta potty ettiquette

Is it socially acceptable to empty my keeper in a porta potty?

I did this at Pride this past weekend, not having any other alternatives, and while on the one hand I don't feel that my menstrual blood is objectively any grosser than any of the other body fluids in there, on the other hand that much blood is kind of shocking to look at if you're not accustomed to it.
