No particular order. I can't rank one above another. They are ALL #1's.

Only bringing the diva in its convenient little bag instead of lots of tampons/pads when traveling!

Flushing away smelly blood instead of letting it sit and stink in trash bins (as with tampons/pads)

And the diva is more sanitary than pads/tampons

Hmm, I'm not one for sleeping naked as I get too cold but I agree with your other points. Mine would be:
- Not feeling dirty
- Financial reasons
- Environment reasons
- No bunching / crotch being able to breathe
- It has made me more aware of my physiology and how much fluid I actually loose

I <3 my mooncup uk!

I still have period panties because of the discharge that gets below the cup while I have it out to rinse. But I like the lack of waste, not having to change protection frequently, and saving money.

Yeah, same here - but I don't really mind. :D I love not throwing away all kinds of crap every month. (There are two of us ladies here - you should have seen the trash can in the bathroom!)

That's what cute cloth liners are for! Search for some on Etsy if you want homemade, inexpensive, one-of-a-kind liners. You'll also be supporting work-at-home moms and students and artists, which is nice. On the other hand, if you want to splurge, get a couple of Lunapads pantyliners: they're expensive, but quality.

not getting dried out from tampons... which alway resorted to exceptional scratching and pain by day 3 of wearing them which then forced me to wear pads for the remainder of my week.

Oh yeah!! I'm only on my second cycle and I forgot to mention THAT giant advantage!!

Those are some of my top reasons, too (though I don't sleep naked). But not feeling all "dirty" and slimy down there, not contributing to the waste crisis, and saving money are all huge reasons. Here are a few of my favorite, lesser reasons:

♀ Breathing crotch; no more "diaper rash" feeling down there.

♀ As I bike to college, sitting on a bicycle seat at the end of the day with a full pad often leads to...SQUISH. Blood leaking on panties and pants. NOT FUN.

♀ I can sit any way I like; cross legged, squatting, et cetera, without worrying about leakage.

♀ I don't have to worry during exercise; particularly with Karate (or other martial art). On the rag with a pure white karategi, with all the stretching and kicking and wide stances? MAJOR paranoia. This counts also for the gym or other public place to exercise (and for anyone who practices fencing, with those white pants also)

♀ No more popping into the bathroom at every chance to check for leakage; you can really trust the cup to do its job for a LONG time.

♀ I actually use less toilet paper, too, since I'm not wiping myself silly to remove all the blood after using the restroom. So it's extra environmentally friendly.

♀ I don't worry about staining my towel when I dry off after a shower any more.

♀ Summer. I'll be able to go to the beach WHENEVER, which is the best: I can stop planning outings and vacation around my period!

Best forty dollars I ever spent!

I'll stop sounding like an infomercial spokesperson now.

Great post! My reasons...

1) My vajayjay feels muuuuch better
2) I can have sex again without excruciating pain
3) Saving money!
4) Convenience--no more "running out" of things mid-cycle; no more planning around my period!
5) Learning more about my body and feeling more comfortable with myself
6) Not creating extra waste
