I posted once before after a disaster experience with Instead. The cup worked okay (I positioned it wrong once), but that night I got VERY sick and blamed Instead.
This month I got frustrated at my Mooncup UK because it refused to open, so I pulled out my old insteads. So far so good! I think it might take a while for me to trust them, because unlike the mooncup, if it is positioned incorrectly it might just decide to explode the days' contents rather than slowly leak. lol.
Luckily I have a bunch of cloth pads that I use for backup. My problem is, I've been using them for two days and I can tell there's a dull ache from my cervix. I don't think it's very happy. But I haven't had much success with my reusable bell cups either. I'm thinking it's the size of Instead. Do you think it would be a good idea to get fitted for a diaphragm to use for a menstrual cup? I'm so frustrated with bell cups at the moment. I tried Diva for about a year, and it never opened. Now the Mooncup UK opens, but it is very temperamental and I probably position it correctly 1/4 times I try. I have to position it really low so it ends up chafing the entrance until it finds its spot higher.
Any thoughts/advice? Thanks. And yes, I've been trying bell cups for a while.. I don't say how long because I don't want to discourage others to try (I think I have a sucky vagina).
