Couple questions

I used mine for the first time today (Diva cup). It took me a few tries to get it in right. I didn't even really know it was inserted in right until it felt like it was leaking, so I checked it and there wasn't a drop of blood, and it was hours later. I checked again another few hours later & no blood. I was pleasantly surprised to find that after a good 6 hours there was no leakage at all! So now its night time and I'm thinking, since its been about 8 hours I should empty it before bed...right? I'd look at the instructions but I seem to have lost them. Its 12 hours max right?

Also - my cramps aren't even close to as bad as usual, of course they aren't *always* bad so I can't quite attribute this to the cup yet, but I'm hoping. All day I'd feel some cramping and think: "Ok here it comes......" (I get terrible doubled-over cramps)...but it never got bad, awesome. My question is, WHY? Why would a cup ease cramps and/or tampons make them bad? How does that actually work? Just curious.

Thanks ladies!

I love this thing! I'm going to tell all the girls in my life about it, we need a Menstral cup revolution!
